On April 18th 2012 the largest gathering of B-25's since WWII paid tribute to the Doolittle Raiders with a 20 ship formation flight at the National Museum of the United States Air Force’s Wright Field. The North American B-25’s staged in Urbana Ohio at Grimes Field where they offered rides and static displays to the public. The tribute flight culminated with a missing-man formation to honor the raiders who have passed on the 70th anniversary of the Doolittle Raid.
